Congratulations to Coventry based LIFT Company, Arden Estate Partnerships, winners of the ‘Social Equity & Health’ category at the Sustainability West Midlands, Sustainability Roadmap to 2030 Awards.
Arden Estate Partnerships has invested over £34m in five mixed-use health and wellbeing centres across Coventry, facilitating much better access to a greater range of services, often in areas where a significant number of residents suffer from socio-economic disadvantage including poor health and wellbeing.
Most recently, Arden Estate Partnerships provided development management services for the award winning Foleshill Health Centre on behalf of Community Health Partnerships and NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
Foleshill Health Centre is the UK’s first Passivhaus certified health care building. This £3.3m investment in primary care estate by the local NHS and CHP in inner-city Coventry provides a high-quality home to local GP services, serving up to 10,000 patients in an area of Coventry with high health needs.
Along with developing the buildings, AEP provides ongoing management and maintenance works. This ongoing investment in building maintenance is critical in ensuring the facilities remain in a high-quality condition, for the benefit of both staff that work out of them, and the members of the public who use the services.
